History
AddOns, Inc. is a privately held Nevada corporation with offices located at 4790 South Caughlin Parkway, Suite 413, Reno, Nevada, 89503. The shares of the corporation are held equally by Christopher A. Long and Glenn M. (Max) Rogers. AddOns is a provider of business consulting, outsourcing, and software products for asset-intensive industries such as mining, transportation, national defense, and utilities.
AddOns was formed in 1998 with a focus on technical consulting and software products for asset-intensive industry. In 2003, AddOns acquired a consulting company called Enterprise System Solutions, Inc. (ESS). ESS was focus on functional and business process consulting in the same markets as AddOns. This acquisition enabled AddOns to provide complete software solutions including development, consulting, ERP implementation, and system outsourcing.
In January 2006, AddOns opened its office in Littleton Colorado. This has put the company closer to many of its clients and also closer to a rich technical labor pool that better enables growth. Along with this move came an extensive investment in infrastructure that included moving hardware to a state-of-the-art co-location facility, implementation of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, and in-house managed development environments.
Organization
AddOns is organized into three operating departments: Consulting, Service & Support, and Products. All departments work congruently with the same focus: to provide excellent value and customer satisfaction. These are the foundation of AddOns’ business and are the reasons for our high customer retention. Based on these principles, each department has its own management structure and clear goals and objectives.
Consulting
The consulting department provides a full spectrum of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and business process consulting and training. All consultants are industry-hardened and possess expertise not only in software, but also in business processes and how to apply software to those business processes. Both consultants and management in this department constantly strive to stay abreast of latest technology and best practice in their areas. Furthermore, AddOns employees have access to an internal knowledge base which enables each consultant to quickly solve problems and leverage past experience of the organization to deliver better solutions.
AddOns Consulting provides the following services:
- Business Process Consulting: Maintenance, procurement, inventory, finance, human resources, payroll, and corporate health and safety.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System implementation, upgrade, training, and system re-engineering.
- Development of corporate reporting and query solutions including data warehousing.
- Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, reporting, interpretation and management.
- Implementation of training programs aimed at sustaining system integrity, use, and supportability.
Service and Support
AddOns’ Service and Support department provides full system support for ERP systems and associated software. AddOns also has a robust infrastructure to ensure excellence in issue resolution. This infrastructure includes an integrated service desk application, Microsoft SharePoint, internal knowledge base, and live remote assistance.
AddOns Service and Support Department provides the following:
- Full system outsourcing, including hosting in state-of-the-art co-location facility
- Day-to-day functional and technical support
- Proactive system monitoring, including real time reporting and integration with ticketing system
- Gold level support, including detail troubleshooting and interfacing with Software OEM
Products
AddOns has recently formed its product development department in order to provide better service to customers. With the formation is this department, AddOns has implemented industry-proven software development tools and code management technology. AddOns also delivers training and documentation with each product. Our Training and documentation utilizes the latest technologies in Web-based solutions.
